Easter Safety Tips

Easter is a big time for celebration and family gatherings in a lot of people's homes (including mine)! With everyone enjoying each other's company sometimes what the dog is up to isn't on our mind. Here are 3 items to keep a look for during this Easter weekend.

1) Easter eggs! Easter eggs hunt are big every year. Especially, when you have little ones around. Enjoy the hunt and fun but make sure you and your family remember where you placed every egg. Behind the tree, in the whole in your yard, etc. If you leave one in the yard it's a big possibility that your dog will find it and want to chew on it. Be proactive and just do one good sweep once the egg hunt is complete. :)

2) Chocolate - dog's CAN'T eat it! Chocolate is a favorite easter basket goodie to add. Enjoy your treats and snack away! Just make sure to place the baskets on high counter tops or shelves where your dog's can't knock over and eat.

3) Decorative confetti Although the confetti is mostly used as decoration to put in easter baskets, be sure none of it blows in the yard. It's not deadly to your dog but it can be a pain to try to get out of their system and it's best you avoid having to pull them out of their butt as they try to poop them out...hahaha.

Enjoy your family time and fun with your dog and just make sure to keep an eye out for these 3 common Easter items in your home this weekend.

We wish you a very Hoppy Easter TS Family!
